For those venturing to Mount Rainier National Park, one of the must-do trails is the hike to Comet Falls and Van Trump Park. Comet Falls tumbles down over 300 feet resembling the tail of celestial comet, and Van Trump Park provides visitors with extraordinary views of Mount Rainier and its surrounding glaciers. The trail is short but very steep qualifying this hike as strenuous. The adventure is well worth the pay-off from these two spectacular Rainier destinations.
