This short but steep trail climbs the east face of a shapely "Hogback" - a sharp, rounded ridge with steep sloping sides - that frames the northwest border of Boulder, Colorado. Visitors will enjoy excellent views of the nearby Flatirons, Green Mountain, Bear Peak, Mt Sanitas and eastern plains. Deer, rabbit and prairie dogs are common in this area.
