Bogachiel River Trail
Olympic National Park
The Bogachiel River Trail begins just west of Forks, WA in Bogachiel State Park, and runs 21.6 miles east to the Mink Lake Trail in Olympic NP. It follows the Bogachiel River through temperate rainforest up to a divisive ridge between the Bogachiel and Sol Duc river basins. The Bogachiel River Trail is a 'low maintenance priority' for the NPS, and conditions can vary widely. There are multiple creek fords, and some may be difficult or impassible at high water. The trail grade is easy - moderate, and best hiked May - September.
