Joshua Tree's California Riding and Hiking Trail (CRHT) stretches 35 miles from the Black Rock Canyon Campground in the town of Yucca Valley to the Park's North Entrance Station in 29 Palms, California. Located in a lonely, desolate corner of Pleasant Valley, this section of the CRHT passes through unforgiving Mojave desert shrub and scrub vegetation zones. True desert lovers will appreciate this section's stark beauty, boundless open space and solitude.
