Kit Fox Hills
Death Valley National Park
The Kit Fox Hills are a tectonically active set of badlands formations, bound by the Northern Death Valley fault Zone to the southwest and unnamed fault zones to the northeast. The Kit Fox Hills are in a current state of uplift due to tectonic activity. An unmarked, unmaintained route between Highway 190 (north of Stovepipe Wells) and Daylight Pass Road negotiates washes, ridgelines and bajadas for an adventurous trek through this stunning and seldom seen area.
