Located in the heart of Marin County is Phoenix Lake. The lake is nestled at the foot of Mount Tamalpais and is part of the Marin County Watershed. A vast network of terrific hiking, trail running and biking trails emanate from the Phoenix Lake Trailhead and it is one of the most popular launch points in all of Marin County. The 5.25 mile Yolanda Trail - Hidden Meadows Loop is an exceptionally beautiful route leading hikers beneath the rocky ridge of Bald Hill while affording sweeping views of Mount Tamalpais and the surrounding valley.
