ProTrails - It All Started...

It all started at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dave Schwartz and Dave Levy, sophmores at the time, decided that the day was too nice to waste on class. Lunch at the Silver Spoon restaurant sounded like a good way to figure out how to best spend the day. The idea of hiking came up. North Georgia, perhaps? North Carolina? Perhaps Beech Bottom Falls near the Tennessee border? Well, if they went as far as Tennessee, they might as well fly somewhere, but where? There was only one logical answer, the Rocky Mountains. Within hours, the two had left a note for their friends saying only "Went to Colorado. Be back later." The rest, as they say, is history.
